IPMAT Cut Off Marks Trend Analysis
The IPMAT cut off trends have sharply varied between the years 2021 and 2025. For example, the cut off marks for general category was 321 in 2021, 306 in 2022, peaked at 409 in 2023, dropped to 301 in 2024, and rose again to 381 in 2025. This large fluctuation of more than 100 marks between some years was due to change in exam difficulty and competition levels.
For the OBC-NCL category, the cut-off increased sharply from just 80 in 2021 to 297 in 2025, showing more than a threefold rise in four years. The EWS category also saw steady growth, rising from 197 in 2021 to 331 in 2025. These numbers show stronger competition within reserved categories as well.
In the SC category, the cut-off increased from 119 in 2021 to 230 in 2025, while the ST cut-off went up from 52 to 138 during the same period. These steady increases indicate improved performance by candidates each year.
The DAP (PwD) category shows variation depending on the sub-category. In 2025, the DAP-General cut-off was 274, while DAP-SC stood at 202, reflecting differences due to smaller candidate pools.
Overall, General and EWS aspirants should aim for 320+ in mock tests, OBC candidates should target around 280–300, and SC/ST candidates should try to stay above 200 to remain competitive based on recent trends.

Factors Affecting IPMAT Rohtak Cut off Marks
IPMAT Rohtak cut off marks are not merely numbers, but they help in determining the overall difficulty level of the exam. Every year, a lot of factors come together to determine the minimum IIM Rohtak cut off marks for IPMAT 2026.
Get a quick idea of the factors affecting IPMAT Rohtak cut off marks below.
- First, the total number of applicants plays a big role. In recent years, more than 14,000 students have registered for the exam. Students from CBSE, ICSE, and various state boards apply in large numbers. When more students appear for the exam, competition increases, and cut-offs usually go higher.
- Second, the difficulty level of the paper directly impacts the cut-off. If the paper is tough, especially with difficult Quant questions, tricky Data Interpretation, or hard algebra, overall scores go down, and the cut-off may drop. On the other hand, if Logical Reasoning (LR) or Verbal Ability (VA) sections are easier, many students score higher marks, which pushes the cut-off up.
- Third, the number of seats and the reservation policy also affect cut-offs. IPMAT Rohtak offers around 180–200 seats. As per government rules, seats are divided approximately as follows: General category gets about 40–45%, OBC-NCL 27%, SC 15%, ST 7.5%, EWS 10%, and PwD 5% (horizontal reservation).
- Lastly, performance trends in different sections matter. Even though IPMAT Rohtak does not have sectional cut-offs, scoring poorly in one section can reduce your overall total. Quantitative Ability (QA) is usually the toughest section and often decides rankings. LR and VA are generally more scoring. Therefore, performing well in these sections can help improve your total score.
How Does IPMAT Rohtak Seats Determine Cut Off Marks?
IIM Rohtak has only 180 to 200 seats to offer for its IPM Program. These seats are distributed to different categories like General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD based on reservation rules. This limited number of MBA seats leads to high competition and high IIM Rohtak cut-off marks. Those candidates who score above the minimum category wise IPMAT cut off will be called for the next round, the Personal Interview.

FAQs on IPMAT Rohtak Cut Off 2026
The expected cut-off for the General category may range between 370–390 marks. For reserved categories, it may be lower. The exact cut-off will be released after the results are declared.
No, IPMAT Rohtak does not have sectional cut-offs. Selection is based on the overall score. However, scoring very low in one section can reduce your total marks and affect your chances.
The cut-off depends on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the total seats available (around 180–200), and category-wise reservation rules.
