NPAT Counselling Overview

NPAT counselling is the admission process conducted by NMIMS University for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses through NPAT scores. The counselling process is conducted offline. Seats are allotted based on the candidate’s merit rank, program preference, and seat availability.

NMIMS NPAT Counselling 2026 Highlights

• NPAT counselling is conducted round-wise for admission to different programmes offered by NMIMS.
• Candidates who make it to the merit list are invited for the seat allotment process.
• If seats remain unfilled after a round, NMIMS publishes another merit list for the next phase of NPAT counselling.
• In most cases, the counselling process is completed in 3 rounds.
• Candidates need to report to the allotted NMIMS counselling centre within the given timeline.
• Admission is confirmed only after document verification and payment of fees.

NPAT Counselling Procedure

Candidates selected through the NPAT counselling must complete the admission formalities at the respective allotted institute.

• Personal presence at the counselling venue is mandatory for admission
• Only merit-listed candidates are allowed to participate in the admission process
• Participating NMIMS campuses will conduct counselling individually
• Candidates must visit the assigned institute on the scheduled date and time
• Only after document verification, an admission letter will be provided
• Confirmation of admission will be subject to fee payment within the given timeframe
• Those who fail to complete the process on time may lose their allotted seat
