Symbiosis admission for UG courses is conducted through the SET exam. The university conducts the SET exam to offer admission to various BBA programmes. The SET score is accepted by 16 Symbiosis schools located in various cities. Some of the popular institutes are in Pune, Nagpur, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Symbiosis BBA admission is based on the entrance score and interview marks. Candidates who appeared in both the SET 2026 exams; their best score will be taken into consideration for the interview merit list.
Admission in Symbiosis Pune and Bangalore depends on the marks obtained in the SET exam and the Personal Interview round. The interview for the Symbiosis BBA programs at the participating institutes is scheduled for June.

Symbiosis Admission Process 2026
Symbiosis admission is conducted separately for each institute. But candidates will have to go through Personal Interview rounds for all the BBA courses offered by each participating institute. The admission process after the aptitude score is released is as follows:
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET)
- The initial step is to take the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), which is held online and carries 60 marks.
- These 60 marks are scaled to 70, and the PI carries 30 marks (including WAT and GD, if conducted by the institute). This means students' overall performance is based on 100 marks.
Personal Interview (PI) Round
- After the results are released, each institute will publish the list of students who have met the cut-off marks.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview round. Candidates need to download the PI admit card or call letter by logging in to their portal.
- The final merit list of candidates will be released on each institute's official website. Once released, candidates must pay the admission fee by the last date to finalise their admission to the course they opted for.

Symbiosis Admission Criteria 2026
Admission to Symbiosis institutes is based on the aptitude test score, interview and Writing Ability Test. For some courses, Studio Tests are also held. The interview will be worth 30 marks, and the aptitude score of 60 will be scaled to 70 to calculate the final score.
