CAT 2025 Answer Key – Latest Updates

The CAT 2025 answer key will be released in two phases by IIMs:

• Provisional Answer Key: Released within 5–6 days of the exam along with the candidate response sheet. Aspirants can raise objections if they find errors.
• Final Answer Key: Released around 20 days after the exam, after reviewing all objections.
• Result: Declared in the last week of December 2025.

How to Download CAT Answer Key 2025?

• Visit the Official IIM CAT Website: Go to iimcat.ac.in, the only official source for downloading the CAT answer key and response sheet.
• Login with CAT Credentials: Enter your CAT User ID and password on the candidate login page to access the answer key of CAT 2025.
• Click on the ‘Candidate Response’ Tab: After logging in, select the “Candidate Response” or “Objection Form” tab where the answer key and response sheet are provided.
• Download the Provisional Answer Key: Click on the download link to save the provisional CAT 2025 answer key PDF along with your personal response sheet.
• Check and Verify Your Responses: Match your answers with the official solutions, calculate your estimated score, and plan objections if required against any question.

How to Challenge CAT 2025 Answer Key?

• Login on the Official IIM CAT Portal: Visit iimcat.ac.in and log in using your credentials to access the provisional CAT 2025 answer key.
• Select the Objection Form Option: Click on the “Objection Form” tab, where you can raise queries or doubts related to the released CAT answer keys.
• Choose the Question You Want to Challenge: Select the specific question, provide justification with references, and explain why the official answer should be reconsidered by IIMs.
• Pay the Objection Fee Online: Submit the objection fee through the online payment gateway available on the portal.
• Submit and Save Confirmation Receipt: After payment, submit the objection and download the confirmation slip for future reference until the final key is released.

How to Calculate Scores Using CAT Answer Key?

• Download the Answer Key and Response Sheet: Login at iimcat.ac.in and download both the official CAT 2025 answer key and your personal response sheet.
• Check All Correct Responses First: Match your responses with the correct answers. Award +3 marks for each correct answer across all sections.
• Subtract Marks for Wrong MCQs: For every incorrect multiple-choice answer, deduct –1 mark as per the official CAT marking scheme.
• Leave TITA Questions Without Penalty: TITA (Type in the Answer) questions have no negative marking, so award full marks only if your answer matches.
• Calculate Your Final Raw Score: Add correct marks, subtract penalties, and total the score to estimate your CAT 2025 performance before official results.
