IIM Jammu BBA Admission 2026: The Process

The IIM Jammu BBA admission process considers your entrance performance along with your Class 10, Class 12 and gender diversity scores.

IIM Jammu does not simply multiply your actual board percentage by the 15% academic weightage. Instead, your Class 10 and Class 12 percentages are placed into predefined score bands.

IIM Jammu BBA Hons Program Structure

The IIM Jammu BBA (Hons.) is a four-year program based on the semester system. The curriculum combines management, economics, finance, communication, mathematics, technology, data analytics and other areas with internships, electives and an industry project. 

IIM Jammu also includes a Boot Camp, social and corporate internship components, and an international exchange opportunity based on merit and applicable course norms.

1st Year: Build Your Management Foundation

Your first year builds the academic base you will need for the rest of the BBA. You study subjects such as Business Communication, Business Economics, Financial Accounting, Principles of Management, Business Mathematics, Excel, Marketing Management, Psychology and Computational Thinking.

2nd Year: Management, Analytics and Practical Exposure

Your second year takes you further into subjects such as Financial Management, HRM, Marketing Management, Statistics, Data Analytics using R and Python, Operations Management, AI & ML, Strategic Management, Money, Banking & Finance and Environmental Science.

3rd Year: Electives and International Exposure

IIM Jammu BBA Campus

The new BBA (Hons.) admission policy is specifically for the IIM Jammu Ladakh Campus, and your first semester starts at the Leh Campus. However, you should know that the program is not scheduled to remain at Leh throughout the year.

The first-batch academic calendar shows a seasonal campus model. You begin classes at Leh on 27 October 2026 and shift to the Jammu Campus on 27 November 2026 during winter. Semester II starts in Jammu, after which you shift back to Leh on 3 April 2027 during summer, with classes resuming there on 5 April.
