Step 1: Complete the Online Application Form
You had to submit your application through the IIM Bangalore undergraduate admissions portal between August 17 and October 17, 2026.
The application allowed you to select your preferred programme or apply for both BSc (Honours) programmes.

Step 2: Appear for the IIMB Undergraduate Admissions Test
The entrance test is the first major assessment in the IIM Bangalore UGAT admission process. The test is scheduled for November 15, 2026, and is a computer-based examination with 60 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 135 minutes.
The test covers three sections:

| Logical Reasoning (LR) | 15 | 45 minutes |
| Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) | 15 | 30 minutes |
| Total | 60 | 135 minutes |
Step 3: Qualify for the First Shortlist
IIM Bangalore uses entrance test scores to prepare the first shortlist. You must meet the prescribed sectional and aggregate percentile cut-offs, with positive raw scores in all three sections.
The published minimum percentile requirements for the 2027–31 batch are:
| Category | VARC | LR | QADI | Overall |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| ST | 20 | 20 | 30 | 30 |

Referees must submit the references directly through the online application system by the prescribed deadline.
The personal interview assesses academic consistency, motivation, communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and extracurricular achievements.
Interviews for the 2027–31 batch are tentatively scheduled for the second and third weeks of January 2027.
