IPMAT seats 2026 have been released by the institutes offering IPM courses. While the seat intake for IIM Indore is 150, IIM Rohtak has a total of 198 seats through IPMAT. The category-wise seat breakdown is entirely based on the reservation policy framed by the Government of India. As per the policy, the institutions have reserved 10% of the total seats for the EWS, 15% for SC, and 5% for PWD students.

IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak are two most preferred institutes for IPM programs. The total seats reserved for the general category are 50 and at IIM Rohtak, the seats for the general category is 70.
