JIPMAT Details

JIPMAT exam is one of the popular management entrance exams for admission to a 5-year integrated course at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The JIPMAT registration 2026 window is open. The application date has been extended from May 10 to May 13. The last date to pay the application fee is now May 14 (up to 11:50 PM); previously, it was May 11, 2026. 

JIPMAT exam date 2026 is June 7, 2026. The NTA, the conducting body, conducts the exam online once a year. The minimum eligibility is to have passed classes 11 and 12 with 60% marks from a recognised board. However, students check the minimum eligibility requirements of the respective institute they are applying to. 

Over 14,000 students register for the exam, and 12,000+ candidates take the exam every year to secure seats at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The seat intake at IIM Jammu is 140, and at IIM Bodh Gaya it is 120. Applicants taking the tests should aim to score in the 99th percentile or higher. JIPMAT Exam Registration 2026

NTA has opened the registration window for JIPMAT 2026. Candidates can fill the form by visiting the official website- https://exams.nta.nic.in/jipmat/. The JIPMAT Registration last date has been extended by the NTA from May 10 to May 13. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification before applying for the exam. The official notification mentions the registration details, eligibility requirements, documents to upload, fees, and other relevant details.  Steps to apply for the JIPMAT exam are as follows:

  • Go to the JIPMAT official website-  https://exams.nta.nic.in/jipmat/.
  • Click on the link “Registration for JIPMAT 2026” mentioned in the Candidate Activity section at the bottom of the page.
  • You will be directed to the registration page, where you need to click on the “New Registration” link.
  • Now read the information provided there and click on “ Click to Proceed.
  • Now register and use your login information to access your portal.
  • Now complete the application form and provide the necessary details.
  • Pay the application form fees using the provided method.
  • Download your application form for future use.

JIPMAT Exam Fees 2026

JIPMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu differs. However, to take the test, candidates must meet the following requirements. 

  • Candidates who have passed class 10th and 12th in 2024, 2025 or are appearing in 2026.
  • Students of any stream or discipline are eligible to apply for the JIPMAT exam 2026.
  • Candidates who have passed the 10th examination in 2022 or afterwards are eligible to take the test.

NOTE: Although NTA has not specified a minimum mark requirement to appear for the test, the participating institutes (IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya) have stated that at least 60% for the general category (55% for SC/ST/PwD and Transgender) in class 10 and 12 are mandatory to be eligible for the merit list.

JIPMAT Answer Key 2026

NTA releases the JIPMAT answer key within 2-3 weeks of the exam date. At first, the provisional answer key will be released along with the recorded response sheet and the question paper. Students can challenge the provisional answer key if they find any discrepancies. NTA will open the objection window for 2-3 days. To raise an objection, candidates need to log in to their portal and submit the objection by paying the required fee. 

The final answer key will be based on the objection raised. Once the final answer key is out, students cannot challenge it further. The student’s score will be calculated based on the final answer key. 

JIPMAT Result 2026

JIPMAT results will be out on the official website by the last week of July, tentatively. You must download the scorecard by logging in to their portal. Once the result is out, the participating institutes will release the merit list and the cutoff score.

The JIPMAT full form is the Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (JIPMAT). The NTA conducts the JIPMAT for two IIMs: IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu.
