CMAT exam pattern is set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The pattern details the CMAT question paper structure, marking scheme and time allotted to complete the test. As per the CMAT exam format, the question paper is categorised into 5 sections: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Each section includes 20 questions, for a total of 100 questions.

CMAT Exam Pattern 2027: Section-wise Breakdown

Logical Reasoning
The Logical Reasoning section is basically of a moderate level. With a total of 20 questions, the Verbal Reasoning covers 40 to 50 per cent.
