IIM Kozhikode BMS is the institute's first full-time undergraduate degree. It is a four-year Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours with Research) that started in the 2026-27 academic year. Unlike IIMK's PGP, it is not taught at the Kozhikode campus and runs at the Kochi campus.
Admission to the IIM Kozhikode BMS course is based on the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (BMS AT), followed by a Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates. Students from any stream who have completed Class 12 can apply to this course.

What is IIM Kozhikode BMS Program?
IIM Kozhikode launched the BMS program as its first full-time undergraduate degree, starting in the 2026–27 academic year at the institute’s Kochi Campus. The program combines a Management major with interdisciplinary minors such as:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Economics and Public Policy
- Psychology and Behavioural Sciences
- Finance and Big Data
- Liberal Studies in Management, Marketing, Sales and Digital Promotion
Students also get opportunities for internships, research projects, international exchange and elective-based learning.
IIM Kozhikode BMS Course Structure
The IIM Kozhikode BMS course is credit-based. One credit equals one hour of classroom instruction per week. IIMK expects at least 2 hours of preparation for every classroom hour. A semester runs a minimum of 15 weeks.
- Fall semesters (1, 3, 5, 7): August to December
- Spring semesters (2, 4, 6, 8): January to May
- Summer break: May to August, used for internships, faculty research projects or summer-term credits (usually 2 credits)

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria should check the stage-wise selection criteria of the BMS course offered by IIMK.
Step 1: IIMK BMS Aptitude Test
The IIMK BMS AT is a two-hour computer-based test and has two sections: Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability. The registration fee is ₹4,250 for general candidates and ₹2,125 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

Step 3: IIM Kozhikode BMS Personal Interview
