IIM Kozhikode is a top-tier management institute in India. It is located on two hillocks in the Kunnamangalam Area of Calicut, Kerala. The institute spans 112.3 acres and has received a 5-star rating for its green initiative under the Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA).
The IIM Kozhikode campus includes academic blocks, classrooms, auditoriums, hostels, a library, sports and recreation facilities, and dining areas. The institute has 20 hostels with accommodation for around 1,400 students, while its two auditoriums seat approximately 250 and 400. The campus also houses Nalanda – Library and Information Centre, along with the Indian Business Museum.
IIM Kozhikode also has a Kochi Campus at Infopark, Kakkanad, which primarily focuses on offering executive education and programmes for working professionals.

Here are the IIM Kozhikode campus facilities offered to its students.
1. Auditorium
IIM Kozhikode has 2 auditoriums for seminars, conferences, and cultural programmes. The auditoriums seat 250 to 400 people.
2. Hostels
IIM Kozhikode has 20 hostels with accommodation capacity for around 1,400 students. The classrooms, computer centre, student canteen and other campus facilities are located within walking distance of the hostels. Students are provided rooms on a single or shared basis, and hostel rooms have LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The hostels also provide washing machines, water dispensers, and geysers, and most hostels have air-conditioning. Students can also access indoor and recreational facilities within the hostel premises, including table tennis, badminton, basketball, a football field, volleyball and a well-equipped gymnasium. Common rooms and a music room provide additional spaces for recreation and student interaction.
3. Recreation Area
IIM Kozhikode provides indoor and outdoor recreational facilities to support students' extracurricular activities and overall campus life. The hostels have facilities for indoor games such as table tennis, carrom and chess, while outdoor sports facilities include badminton, basketball, football and cricket.
4. Business Museum
IIM Kozhikode houses the Indian Business Museum, which shows the history and evolution of Indian business. The museum covers India's business history, including ancient and medieval trade, the colonial period, pre- and post-independence business, the public sector, banking, technology, and notable contributors to India's economic development.
5. Library
Nalanda - Library and Information Centre (LIC) has digital, audio, and print media to help students, researchers and scholars to access the resources they want. The library includes 41,750+ books, 83 journals, 622655+ e-books, and 99 e-databases. Researchers' and faculty publications are available in open access at the International Repository DSpace@IIMK.

Life at IIM Kozhikode Campus
Life at IIM Kozhikode is not just limited to academics; it provides facilities for recreation, extra-curricular and other day-to-day activities.
IIM Kozhikode Hostel Life: It has 20 hostels and offers sports facilities, including a table tennis room, a badminton court, two basketball courts, a football field, a volleyball court, and a well-equipped gymnasium. The hostels have 3 canteens and a night canteen for students who need refreshments late at night.
IIM Kozhikode Digital Infrastructure: IIM Kozhikode provides students with a digitally connected campus. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and classrooms, the library, the Computer Centre, and seminar halls are connected to the wireless network. Hostel rooms are also connected to the campus LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
The Library and Information Centre: It further supports students' academic and research requirements through print and digital resources. Its current website lists more than 41,750 books and 6 lakh e-books, along with journals and electronic databases.

IIM Kozhikode Kochi Campus (New)
The IIM Kozhikode Kochi Campus was established in 2013 to focus on executive education and develop managerial capabilities among working professionals.
The Kochi Campus is located at Athulya IT Complex, Infopark, Kakkanad, Kochi. The institute currently uses the campus for programmes including the MBA for Working Executives, with classes conducted at the Kochi Campus in Infopark.
Unlike the residential main campus at Kunnamangalam, the Kochi Campus is non-residential, and accommodation is not available on campus. Participants requiring accommodation need to make their own arrangements outside the IT SEZ.
