Where Is IIM Ahmedabad Located?

IIM Ahmedabad is located in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The official address is Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015. 

The campus covers 102 acres and includes heritage red-brick buildings, modern academic blocks, residential facilities, sports infrastructure and student amenities. 

The campus has separate access points for the Main Campus and New Campus. Students and visitors can use the official campus map and 360-degree virtual tour. IIM Ahmedabad new campus address is also the same as the old one.

IIM Ahmedabad’s campus is commonly discussed as two interconnected areas: the historic Heritage Campus, associated with Louis Kahn’s red-brick architecture, and the newer campus area with exposed-concrete academic and residential buildings. Some official IIMA pages also use the terms Main Campus and West Campus.

The IIM Ahmedabad campus covers 102 acres and combines the historic heritage campus with the newer campus. The old campus is known for exposed red-brick buildings, geometric arches, open courtyards and spacious corridors designed by Louis Kahn.

• Louis Kahn Plaza is an important space on the Main Campus and is used for major institute events and convocations.
• Academic buildings and student dormitories are connected through arched corridors and landscaped courts.
• The newer campus uses exposed concrete and a contemporary architectural style.
• The Old and New Campus areas are connected through a pedestrian underpass beneath the main road (with elevators for accessibility).

The IIM Ahmedabad campus combines heritage architecture with modern academic, residential and recreational infrastructure across the Old and New Campuses.
