Mistakes to Avoid While Filling CAT Online Exam Form
While completing the CAT exam registration 2026, even a small error can create problems later in the admission process. Since most details cannot be edited after the final submission, you should fill the CAT application form carefully and review every section before making the payment.
- Check your name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, academic qualifications, and category details carefully to avoid mismatches with your official documents.
- Instead of relying on the keyboard's Tab key, use your mouse to navigate through different fields to minimise accidental skips or incorrect entries.
- The CAT application form allows you to complete the registration in multiple sessions. Make it a habit to save your information after each section so that you do not lose any data.
- Once you complete the payment, most details in the application form of CAT cannot be modified. Carefully review every field before proceeding to the payment gateway.
- Complete your CAT exam registration 2026 using an updated and recommended browser for a smoother registration experience and to avoid technical issues.
- Before the CAT registration date, arrange your photograph, signature, academic certificates, category certificates (if applicable), and payment details. This will help you complete the registration without interruptions.
- Avoid waiting until the last day, as heavy traffic on the website may lead to slow loading or payment failures. Completing your registration early gives you enough time to resolve any unexpected issues.
