The IIM Bangalore BBA DBE selection process can be through the IIMB DBE Entrance Test, CUET (UG) General Test, or JEE Main, depending on the admission cycle's applicable rules. How to Prepare According to the IIM Bangalore UG Exam Pattern 2027?
Prepare according to the programme you choose. B.Sc. (Hons) candidates need to cover English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and Logical Reasoning, while BBA DBE candidates also have General Awareness.
1. Strengthen Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
Revise arithmetic, algebra, geometry and other topics in the quantitative syllabus. Practise DI sets based on tables, graphs, charts and caselets to improve calculation speed and accuracy.
2. Improve English and Verbal Skills
Practise Reading Comprehension, vocabulary and grammar regularly. BBA DBE candidates should also cover sentence correction, para jumbles and fill-in-the-blanks. Read regularly to improve comprehension and reading speed.
3. Develop Logical Reasoning Skills
Practise coding-decoding, series, puzzles, arrangements and syllogisms. B.Sc. candidates should also cover critical reasoning, logical deductions, data sufficiency and pattern recognition as listed in the syllabus.
4. Prepare General Awareness for BBA DBE
Follow current affairs, business and economy, government schemes, and major national and international events. Make short notes and revise them regularly to improve recall.
5. Practise Mixed Questions
Solve mixed questions after completing the concepts. Use timed practice to improve speed and accuracy, and review your mistakes to identify topics that need more revision.
