What is IIM Indore IPM?

IIM Indore IPM, or the Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Indore, is a five-year dual-degree programme designed for students who want to pursue management education after Class 12. The programme combines undergraduate-level foundation courses with postgraduate management education. 

Students study subjects such as mathematics, economics, humanities, social sciences and business management during the programme. After successful completion, students receive a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and an MBA degree.

IIM Indore IPM: Eligibility Criteria

IIM Indore IPM: Registration Form

Based on the application trends of previous years, the IPMAT Indore application form is released in February. The registration window usually remains open until March, giving candidates around one month to complete the application process. 

The IPM Aptitude Test is generally conducted in May. Therefore, candidates can expect the IIM Indore IPM 2027 application process to follow a similar February-March timeline. 

Steps to Apply Online for IPMAT Indore 

Candidates can complete the IIM Indore IPM application process online through the official IIM Indore website. The key steps are:

• Go to the IIM Indore website and access the IPM 2026-31 online application link.
• Create an account by providing the required basic details.
• Enter personal, academic and category-related information carefully on the application form.
• Upload the required documents, certificates and other details in the prescribed format.
• Pay the applicable non-refundable and non-transferable fee online.
• Check all information entered in the form before submitting it. No category change is allowed after submission.
• Submit the completed application and keep a copy of the confirmation/application form for future reference.

IIM Indore IPM Selection Process 2027

For domestic applicants, IIM Indore’s latest published admission procedure includes online application, IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT), Personal Interview (PI) and final selection. 

1. Online Application

Eligible candidates submit the IPM application online within the prescribed application window. The form requires personal and academic details, category information and the documents specified by IIM Indore. The application fee is paid online.

2. IPM Aptitude Test

Applicants appear for the IPMAT Indore exam. The test has three sections:

• Quantitative Ability (MCQ)
• Quantitative Ability (Short Answer)
• Verbal Ability (MCQ)

3. Personal Interview

Candidates shortlisted after the aptitude test are called for the Personal Interview (PI). IIM Indore states that the PI assesses parameters including communication skills, confidence, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.

4. Final Selection

IIM Indore prepares the final merit list using the selection criteria prescribed for the respective admission cycle. The selection formula and component-wise weightage are not yet available and should not be presented as confirmed until the institute releases the 2027 admission procedure.

5. Admission Offer

Candidates included in the final selection receive a provisional admission offer. They must complete the required admission and registration formalities within the stipulated timeline to join the IPM programme.

Fee Structure of IPM at IIM Indore

IIM Indore offers merit-based scholarships and need-based financial assistance specifically to IPM students.

Preparation Tips for IPMAT Indore Examination

IIM Indore IPM preparation should focus on speed, accuracy and familiarity with the exam format. Candidates should give separate attention to Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability while regularly solving IPMAT-level questions and mock tests.

• Prioritise important Quant topics: Focus on arithmetic, algebra, number system, geometry, mensuration, probability, permutation and combination, sets and functions.
