You can download the CUET answer key 2026 PDF using the given steps:

• Visit the official CUET website: cuet.nta.nic.in
• On the homepage, click on the "CUET (UG) 2026 Provisional Answer Key" link.
• Click "Sign In" or "Candidate Login".
• Enter your Application Number and Password created during CUET UG 2026 registration.
• Fill in the Security Pin/Captcha displayed on the screen.
• Click "Submit" to access your dashboard.
• Select "View Answer Key".

The response sheet is an official record of your marked answers. You can check your answer using the provisional answer key provided by the NTA. Steps to check the answers are as follows:

• Visit the CUET website and log in to your portal.
• After you log in, download the CUET response sheet 2026.
• Now, award 5 marks for each correct answer.
• Deduct 1 mark for every wrong answer.
• In case you left any questions, mark zero there.

How to Calculate CUET Score Using Answer Key

Once the answer key is out, you can use it to check your answers and calculate your score. The CUET score can be calculated using the following steps:

• When checking, use the official NTA marking scheme.
• Provide 5 marks for each correct answer.
• Deduct 1 mark for each wrong response.
• If you leave any question unattempted, do not provide any mark.
• Now, calculate your CUET score using the following formula:

Steps to Raise Objections for the CUET 2026 Answer Key

The CUET answer key can be challenged within 2-3 days. To object to any question, students can use the given steps:

• Visit the official CUET website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
• Now, click on the Challenge Provisional Answer Key link.
• Once you click on it, you can view the questions in order.
• Now, you can choose any question you want to object to and upload the supporting documents by clicking on the “Choose File” option.
• Now you can click the "Save Your Claim " button and pay the fee to object.
• You need to pay the amount online using the option provided there. Note that the fee, once paid, is non-refundable.

What After the Final CUET UG Answer Key Is Released?

1. CUET UG Result Declaration - The result is declared within 3–5 days of the final answer key. In 2025, the final key was released on July 1, and the result was declared on July 4 - just 3 days later. For 2026, expect the result shortly after the final key is released.
2. CUET Merit List - The merit list will be released by the participating universities for shortlisting students.
3. CUET Counselling Begins - After CUET UG results, each participating university conducts its own admission/counselling process:
   • Delhi University: DU CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal opens at admission.uod.ac.in
   • BHU: Subject-wise merit list at bhuonline.in
   • JNU: Programme-wise merit list at jnu.ac.in
   • Other Central Universities: Each announces separately

The CUET answer key is a crucial part in estimating your CUET score. Here are the most important points you should remember after the CUET answer key 2026 is released.

• NTA will release the CUET provisional answer key first, which allows students to estimate their score. You can expect the answer key to be out by mid-June 2026.
• You must pay INR 200 to challenge per question. The fee is non-refundable.
• While you challenge the questions, provide supporting documents, without which your objection will be invalid.
• You must download your response sheet from the official website using your login ID.
