The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided the CUET UG application fee 2026 details in the official CUET 2026 notification. According to the notification, the last date to pay the fee was February 26, 2026. The fee is determined by the number of subjects you choose and the category you belong to. The CUET application form will be considered complete if the payment is made within the stipulated date and time.
After you pay the CUET UG fees, students cannot make changes to the details they provided in the application. Students must complete their application form carefully before paying the application fee. NTA opened the CUET 2026 correction window on February 9, 2026. The last date to edit the details was February 7, 2026 till 11:50 pm.

CUET UG 2026 application fee details are given below. The fee payment window was opened by the NTA again from February 23 to 26, 2026.

CUET Application Fee 2026 for General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS Categories
The category-wise application fee for CUET UG 2026 is mentioned below. The fee for international students is higher than for Indian nationals. In fact, the application fee for the reserved category has been reduced to allow them to apply to the university of their choice.

In addition to the fee for 3 subjects, students choosing an additional subject(s) must pay the following amount at the time of application.

The CUET application fee is slightly higher for international students. International students need to pay the given amount to complete their application process.

CUET Application Fee Payment Modes
CUET UG applications can only be paid for online. There is no option to pay the application fee offline. Here are the payment methods you can use to pay your 2026 CUET application fee.

How to Pay CUET UG Application Fee Online
To pay the CUET UG application fee online, use the following steps:
- Before you pay online, check the validity of your debit card.
- Candidates can also pay via Net Banking or UPI, whichever they prefer. Ensure you have sufficient funds in your account to avoid a payment decline.
CUET Application Fee Refund Policy
The CUET 2026 application fee, once paid, will not be refunded later. However, the fee will be refunded only if there are multiple payments due to a technical issue. The amount will be refunded to the concerned candidate only after the result is released by the NTA.

What to Do If CUET Application Fee Payment Fails
After successful completion of the application, candidates need to pay the required fee via online mode. Once you pay the fee, the confirmation page will be generated. However, if the confirmation page is not generated after the successful payment of the fee, the candidates should approach the bank to address the issue. Even after this, if the issue persists, students must approach the NTA Helpline. The candidate can either drop an email or phone the concerned authority. The contact details are provided below:

CUET UG Application Form 2026 Details
NTA released the CUET application form 2026 on the CUET official website, which is cuet.nta.nic.in. The application window was open from January 3 to January 30, 2026. The last date to pay the fee was January 31, 2026. However, the application date was extended till February 4, 2026. NTA allowed students to pay the fee by opening the fee payment window from February 23 to 26, 2026.
