How CUET Previous Year Question Papers Improve Exam Preparation
Solving the previous year’s question papers is the most effective way to prepare for the exam. Here is how analysing previous papers strategically improves your preparation:
- While the syllabus is based on NCERT, the application of concepts in CUET is unique. PYQs reveal how the National Testing Agency (NTA) frames questions—often using statement-based, match-the-column, or assertion-reasoning formats that aren’t common in standard board exams.
- Not all chapters in the NCERT are weighted equally. By reviewing the last three years of papers, you can spot recurring themes.
- It trains your brain to skip the difficult 10 questions efficiently, which is a core part of the CUET strategy.
- Regular practice with actual past papers helps you understand your “accuracy ratio.” You learn when to take a calculated guess (e.g., when you’ve eliminated two options) and when to leave a question blank to save marks.
