How to Prepare for CUET 2026?

1. Follow CUET Syllabus and Pattern :

The CUET syllabus 2026 has been released on the CUET official website. The syllabus is NCERT-based, focusing on fundamental and analytical concepts. According to the CUET exam pattern 2026, the question paper is MCQ-based, and you need to attempt 50 questions within 60 minutes time limit. 

The syllabus will help you know the areas to cover and provide a roadmap for your preparation. Once you have gone through the syllabus, mark the chapters that require more attention and detailed study. 

2. Prepare a Study Routine:

Creating a study routine is one of the cruel step in CUET preparation. If you are a serious candidate, it is highly recommended to make a fixed study routine. The CUET passing score depends on the subject-specific cutoff of the respective universities. Generally, the CUET passing score for top universities (DU, BHU, JNU and Dr BR Ambedkar University) is expected to be 700+ marks for most courses.

Yes, the CUET is a completely MCQ-based exam. The question paper consists of 50 MCQs, which students must answer within 60 minutes.

A good rank in CUET is based on the course you apply to. Generally, a rank of up to 500 is considered a very good rank in CUET. To secure the top rank, your CUET score should be above 750.

Yes, self-study can help with CUET preparation, but it is not sufficient to score 240+ out of 250. With increasing competition, you need subject experts who teach you from the basics and provide you with tips to score well in the exam.
