CUET Domain Subjects 2026 (Updated), Subjects List UG Mapping
CUET domain subjects 2026 include 23 domain subjects, covering Science, Commerce and Humanities subjects. To give diverse options to students, NTA has allowed students to choose a maximum of 5 subjects for the CUET 2026. Students must choose from 13 Language subjects, 23 domain subjects and 1 General Aptitude Test. CUET UG 2026 is going to be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The exam will be held for all 37 subjects in multiple shifts in online mode.
Candidates must check the CUET eligibility Criteria prescribed by the NTA as well as that of the universities they are applying to for admission to UG courses through CUET. CUET participating universities provide subject mapping on the official CUET website. Candidates, before they apply for any UG course, must check the course combination and criteria provided by the respective universities.

CUET Marking Scheme 2026
The CUET marking scheme is fixed for all 23 domain subjects, including 13 Language subjects. Students should note the following marking scheme and should keep it in mind while attempting questions.
- Every question has 5 marks. This goes for every subject provided by the CUET.
- NTA has capped negative marking in each subject. For every incorrect answer, there is a deduction of 1 mark in each subject.
- The total marks are 250 for each subject you opt for. The total number of questions is 50 in each subject offered by the CUET.

Can I Modify CUET UG Subjects 2026 During the Correction Window?
No, NTA does not allow changes once the CUET application form is filled. You can only make changes before you complete the payment process. You can only make changes to certain fields as mentioned by the NTA when the correction window opens. Students are recommended to check the subject mapping criteria before applying for the CUET. The maximum limit to apply for CUET is 5 subjects.
