The CUET History syllabus has been updated. There has been the removal and addition of certain chapters to align with the exam demand and reduce the content load. Students must follow the updated syllabus and prepare accordingly for the upcoming CUET History exam.
As per the official notification, CUET UG 2026 will be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The subject-wise schedule is expected to be released soon on the official website of the NTA.

CUET History Exam Pattern 2026
The CUET exam pattern is the same for all subjects. The detailed CUET UG History exam pattern has been mentioned below.
- There are 50 questions, and all are compulsory to attempt.
- Each question carries 5 marks; therefore, the total marks are 250.
- The pattern has included a negative marking for an incorrect answer. -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The exam duration is 60 minutes without any sectional time limit.
